North Hills Newcomers and Friends is a social and charitable organization with the purpose of extending a friendly welcome to those just arriving, as well as long-term residents of the area. We seek to build friendships, share common interests and explore our great city!

A general luncheon is held on the second Tuesday of each month from September to
May. We gather at different locations throughout the North Hills for socializing and a delicious lunch followed by an informative, entertaining program. In the past
our programs have included community information, cooking demonstrations, interior
design tips, self-help speakers, fashion shows and much more.

North Hills Newcomers and Friends offer activities (just hit this link) that appeal to anyone and everyone. From time to time, we also go exploring with "Daytrippers". Daytrippers are generally day long excursions to local points of interest. We might visit a historical site, tour a museum, or set out for a day of shopping. The possibilities are endless.

To keep track of all that we offer, we have a monthly newsletter to help you plan your activities for the month. There is an explanation of all of the activities and how to sign up. There is a convenient calendar included to help you keep track of the dates and times.

And finally, we are a service organization. At each monthly luncheon we support a
local charity by contributing items as well as by hosting raffles where the proceeds
go to a charity of the month. Our November holiday auction is an important source of
revenue to support our charities.

You can join the newcomers anytime during the year. Our annual dues are $25 and we
normally meet from August through May. We are always looking for new faces,
whether you are new to the area or were born and raised here, everyone is welcome.
